Outspoken media personality Daddy Freeze has revealed the steep price he paid for calling out controversial practices within Nigeria’s religious circles.
In a candid interview with real estate mogul Dr. Stephen Akintayo on the Leadership Podcast, the former OAP shared that his open criticism of Nigerian pastors led to the complete collapse of his business ventures.
“When I came after Nigerian pastors, I lost 100% of my business,” Freeze admitted, emphasizing how his decision to challenge deep-seated religious norms came with significant personal and financial consequences.
He further explained that while his intentions were to question certain religious practices he deemed exploitative, the backlash from religious loyalists and institutions was swift and severe.
