NIGERIAN NURSE FOUND D£AD IN HER UK APARTMENT

A UK-based Nigerian nurse, identified as Nurse Miriam, has been found dead in her apartment in Leeds, United Kingdom, in a heartbreaking turn of events that has sent shockwaves through the Nigerian nursing community abroad.
The tragic news was shared by fellow nurse Ibironke Khadeejah Quadri via X (formerly Twitter). According to her, Miriam had completed her last nursing shift on Sunday and had not been seen or heard from since. Concerned over the silence, a friend attempted to reach her multiple times before filing a missing persons report.
Responding to the report, police officers forced entry into Miriam’s residence, where she was sadly found lifeless.
Even more heartbreaking, it was revealed that Miriam had only recently returned from Nigeria, where she had gone for her wedding introduction. Her fiancé had reportedly not yet joined her in the UK.
As of the time of this report, the cause of death remains unknown.
The news has sparked an outpouring of grief across social media, with tributes flooding in from colleagues and well-wishers.
