SHANK COMICS SHUTS DOWN BEEF RUMORS WITH DAVIDO
Popular skit maker Shank Comics has dismissed claims of a feud with Afrobeats star Davido, following backlash over his low rating of Davido’s latest album, 5ive.
Speculations online suggested Shank’s review might have been fueled by a past incident involving American streamer Kai Cenat and Davido. However, Shank has cleared the air, stating that there’s no bad blood between him and the singer.
Taking to social media, Shank highlighted his history of supporting Davido — from speaking positively about him in the past to vibing to his songs publicly — as proof that he holds no grudge.
“I don’t hold grudges. If there was an issue, I’d say it directly,” he tweeted. He also emphasized that his album rating was simply his honest opinion, not influenced by any personal bias.
