WOMAN PLAYS LOVE SONG BEFORE APPARENT SUICIDE ATTEMPT IN KWAZULU-NATAL

A woman in Oakford, KwaZulu-Natal, was found unconscious after allegedly consuming multiple bottles of pills in an apparent suicide attempt on Tuesday.

According to reports, the woman turned on a love song moments before the incident, prompting alarmed residents to make multiple distress calls to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA). Upon arrival, officers found music blaring and the woman unresponsive on the kitchen floor.

With the entrance locked from the inside, responders were forced to break through a gate to reach her. While the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, authorities were informed that the woman lived with her girlfriend, who was not present at the time.

Emergency responders administered medical assistance at the scene, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
