IJOBA LANDE SPEAKS ON WIFE’S INFIDELITY, SAYS THEIR MARRIAGE IS OVER
Nigerian comedian Ganiyu Kehinde, widely known as Ijoba Lande, has broken his silence on allegations of infidelity against his wife, Darasimi, affirming that while he has chosen to forgive her, their relationship has come to an end.
During a recent Instagram livestream, Ijoba Lande emphasized the importance of forgiveness but made it clear that reconciliation is off the table.
“I won’t take her back, but for me to make heaven and for God to forgive my sins, I will forgive her,” he stated. “She has done what she did, and I forgive her, but it’s over. Do you understand?”
The comedian also reflected on personal growth and the importance of learning from past mistakes, urging his followers to be mindful of repeating them.
“No matter what someone does to you, if they seek forgiveness, please forgive them. But don’t let the same mistake happen twice,” he advised.
Ijoba Lande’s remarks follow a response from Darasimi, who denied any extramarital affairs, attributing the controversy to a game of ‘Truth or Dare.’
The comedian had previously accused her of multiple affairs during their marriage, a claim that sparked widespread public debate. However, Darasimi refuted the allegations, explaining that her only questionable interaction with another man, Baba Tee, happened during the game. She further clarified that Baba Tee was unaware of her marital status at the time and insisted that her breakup with Ijoba Lande was unrelated to infidelity.
