VDM ISSUES STERN WARNING TO NEDU, THR£ATENS TO EXPOSE HIM
Controversial social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has issued a warning to popular broadcaster Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu Wazobia, threatening to expose the names of women who allegedly slept with Nedu in exchange for a spot on The Honest Bunch Podcast.
VDM’s outburst followed a phone call from his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. While the details of the conversation remain unclear, VDM hinted that Deji may have been relaying a threat from Nedu. In response, he warned that if Deji called him again, he would publicly reveal the names of the women Nedu allegedly used for podcast appearances.
The ongoing feud between VDM and Nedu escalated after a recent episode of The Honest Bunch, where ex-BBNaija housemate Deeone (Aderombi Adedayo) accused VDM of being gay. Reacting to the allegation on Tuesday, February 11, VDM claimed that Nedu orchestrated the podcast episode as retaliation for declining an invitation to be a guest on the show.
VDM also made it clear that he would not pursue legal action against Deeone, stating, “I am a street boy, a ghetto boy—I can’t take anybody to court.”
To back his claims, VDM shared WhatsApp conversations with Nedu, alleging that the broadcaster repeatedly tried to lure him onto the podcast. He further claimed that when they met in Abuja, Nedu even promised to buy him a car if he agreed to appear on the show.
According to VDM, Nedu had been attempting to get close to him for a while, but he resisted, which he believes contributed to the recent allegations against him. He also criticized The Honest Bunch, alleging that the podcast prioritizes sensationalism and YouTube revenue over discussing real issues affecting Nigerians.
