EEZEETEE REFUTES MERCY CHINWO’S ALLEGATIONS, CALLS FOR TRUTH, RECONCILIATION 

The Chief Executive Officer of EeZee Conceptz, Ezekiel Onyedikachi, popularly known as EeZeeTee, has dismissed what he describes as a deliberate attempt by gospel singer Mercy Chinwo to tarnish his record label with false accusations and emotional blackmail. He stated that no true child of God would seek to destroy another with lies.

In a video shared across multiple media platforms on Tuesday, Mercy Chinwo accused EeZeeTee of threatening to ruin her career and subjecting her to servitude during her time under his label.

EeZeeTee’s Response to the Allegations

Reacting to the claims, EeZeeTee expressed disappointment, stating it was disheartening that someone who identifies as a gospel artist would resort to defamation.

“It’s heartbreaking that she would go to such lengths to damage my credibility,” he said.

He explained that the real issue between them stemmed from financial reconciliation, which he had repeatedly attempted to resolve through respected Christian leaders. However, his peace efforts, he claimed, were misinterpreted as a sign of weakness.

“For over two years, there have been disputes behind the scenes. I saw no reason to come out and discredit any of my artists—it’s foolish to tear down your own work. Why would I sabotage what I invested in? Only an unwise person destroys what God has used them to build,” he added.

Efforts Toward Peaceful Resolution

According to EeZeeTee, he sought intervention from several renowned church leaders, including:

Apostle Eugene Ogwu of Abundant Life Evangelical Mission, Port Harcourt

Mommy Ezekiel of Christian Pentecostal Mission

Bishop Humphrey Erumaka

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Despite these efforts, he claimed his attempts at reconciliation were twisted into accusations of fear and guilt.

“The Bible commands us to pursue peace with all men. I tried to handle this internally, but every effort I made for peaceful resolution was interpreted as a weakness,” he lamented.

EeZeeTee further revealed that a shocking statement from one of the pastors made him realize that the situation was more than a simple disagreement:

“I was told, ‘Stop worrying about the Body of Christ; we will deal with you, and the church will move on.’ At that moment, I knew this was a well-orchestrated conspiracy.”

Addressing the Legal Dispute

On claims that he initiated legal action against Mercy Chinwo, EeZeeTee clarified that in March, all his bank accounts were suddenly frozen. Initially unsure of the cause, he later discovered through confidential sources that certain individuals had orchestrated the move, attempting to make it appear as an independent law enforcement investigation.

“This was a well-planned setup. They tried to keep it private, but evidence surfaced. There are official documents proving who filed the petition and when. Yet, she publicly claimed that I took her to court first. It’s baffling how someone can deny their own signed documents and the witnesses present,” he explained.

EeZeeTee also shared his experience of being detained for nine days in Ilorin—far from Lagos, where his business operates.

“Why Ilorin? It’s an entirely different state outside the relevant jurisdiction. I was detained for nine days because they wanted me to write a statement in their favor. I had to negotiate my way out. The very issue they now downplay was the same reason I was held,” he revealed.

Responding to allegations that he refused to allow a financial audit of his dealings with Mercy Chinwo, EeZeeTee denied ever opposing the process.

“I have never been against a financial audit. All I asked for was a neutral and unbiased entity to handle it,” he clarified.

While the dispute continues to generate public attention, EeZeeTee maintains that his priority is peace and fairness. He expressed disappointment at the direction things have taken, urging a resolution based on truth rather than manipulation.

“There is no need to pull someone down to rise. The gospel industry has enough room for everyone,” he said.
