Hon Chima Obieze Conferred with Chieftaincy Title ‘Dike An’agbalu Izu’ by Igwe Harford Mmadukaibeya Agana
One of the most refined young Nigerian politicians from the South East, the Honourable Member Representing Ezeague Local Government Area in the Enugu State House of Assemble and Chairman House Committee on Agriculture, Hon Barr. Chima E. Obieze together with his beautiful wife Mrs Lynda Obieze were two days ago being the 28th of December 2016 conferred with Chieftaincy titles by His Imperial Majesty Igwe Harford Mmadukaibeya Agana (Eze Ugama 1 of Amindim – Olo)
It was in Amandim Community – Olo, Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State, at the Igwe Ezeugama’s Palace where the vibrant Honorable received the Chieftaincy title of Dike An’agabalu Izu and his beautiful damsel wife conferred with Lolo Osodieme .
His Excellency Deputy Senate President – Sen. Ike Ekweremadu and his amazing wife among other top dignitaries graced the event.
The apparently happy newly titled Chief took to his Facebook page to express his gratitude. Read all he said after the photos Below
“It was in 2006, back in my University years, the Igwe of Nka n’uzu ESUT, Igwe Ebubedike, nominated me for a chieftancy title. I almost refused because at the time, i wasn’t so guts & glory about all these traditional and cultural aspects of life. But i accepted, according to Igwe Ebubedike, he said he had monitored my progress in school politically & otherwise. Like a prophet he told me i will become the president of the University someday. He said, “people gather & conspire against you not because you are a bad person but because your star shines very bright…it makes them jealous”. I accepted and he gave me the title “Dike An’agbalu Izu”. Less than a year after, i became the President of the University just as the Igwe had Forseen.
Two days ago, 28/12/16 Igwe Harford Mmadukaibeya Agana, Ezeugama of Amandim Olo community reiterated the same title #DIKEANAGBALUIZU. This time, He also honours my wife as #Lolo_Osodieme. This title has a lot of significance to my life personally & particularly. Over the years, i have discovered how my presence, my guts & disposition attracts a lot of envy, jealousy, hatred & conspiracy…but then i anchor my hope on the bible verse that says…”For surely, they shall gather but if their gathering is not of the Lord, in many ways shall they scatter…” for the Lord is my shield, my fortress, my defender and my Star!
I left my Villa-home on a white cap but i returned with a red cap…to the glory of God Almighty, without whom i am nothing.
I appreciate my friends, colleagues, stakeholders for the honour & solidarity they gave me 2 days ago.
I had the honour, for the first time to collect a Royal Handshake from my Boss & Mentor Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, Ikeoha Ndigbo. I appreciate this great man who is more than a father to me & who has continued to inspire & mentor me in many ways. May God bless Her Excellent Excellency, Lolo Dr. Mrs Nwanneka Ekweremadu PHd. I thank His Imperial Majesty, Igwe Harford Mmadukaibeya Agana(Ezeugama)& his beautuful LOLO, Ndi Nze na Ozo and the entire people of Amandim Olo for the Honour they gave me on this day.
I thank my Dad, Mum, sisters & brothers, my entire family members, my kinsmen, the Onowu and Cabinet members of Akama Oghe for leading me to Olo.
Lastly, may i thank the woman God has blessed me with, Lolo Lynda Nkeonyenasoya Obieze. Pls wherever you see her from now on call her “Oso di eme 1”. She is a great woman and at the heat of life, she is always…. my#SOLACE. Unu mana Agballa di mma na akwu di ya n’iru.
