Why Do We Assume a Pastor Is Fake When They Sin?” — Nasboi Sparks Conversation

Content creator Nasboi has sparked thoughtful conversations online with a message addressing how society views pastors when they make mistakes.

In his words:
“Why do we often assume a pastor is fake when they sin? After all, pastors are human too. That said, it’s important to remember that not all pastors who falter are false. Of course, we have fake pastors.”

Nasboi’s statement has drawn mixed reactions, with many agreeing that spiritual leaders are still human and capable of error, while others insist that anyone in a position of spiritual authority should be held to a higher standard of accountability.

For some, the message serves as a reminder to separate genuine human flaws from deliberate deception, and to avoid quick judgments without facts.
