TUNJI ADELEKE RECOUNTS NEAR-DEATH ORDEAL IN IBIZA CLUB, BACKS DAVIDO’S ALLEGATIONS
Chairman of the Osun State Local Government Service Commission, Tunji Adeleke, has spoken out about a harrowing experience he had at a nightclub in Ibiza, Spain, where he claims he was nearly choked to death during an alleged assault involving his cousin, Afrobeats star Davido, and members of the DMW crew.
The group was in Ibiza to celebrate the after-wedding party of Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, who recently tied the knot in Nigeria. However, the celebration reportedly took a dark turn when security personnel at the Hi Ibiza nightclub allegedly attacked them.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Tunji described the incident as the closest he has ever come to death. He wrote:
All because my brother Asa wanted to do a nice after-wedding celebration with friends and family? @hiibizaofficial security almost just klled me! Almost choked me to death. My life flashed before my eyes!!! Closest I’ve been!!! God!!!
His statement follows Davido’s earlier accusation, where the singer called out Hi Ibiza’s security team for allegedly attempting to kill him and his team. Davido also demanded justice for what he described as a life-threatening encounter.
As of now, the reason behind the confrontation remains unclear, and no official statement has been released by the management of the nightclub.
