BREAKING: SUSPECTED RITUALIST CAUGHT WITH HUMAN PARTS IN LAGOS
A 25-year-old man, Samson Oghenebreme, has been arrested in the Odomola community, Epe, Lagos, for being in possession of human organs.
The arrest, carried out by operatives of the Odo-Noforija Division on April 25, 2025, was based on credible intelligence from vigilant residents who noticed the suspect’s suspicious movements.
According to preliminary investigations, Oghenebreme was allegedly transporting the organs from Edo State to a native doctor for money rituals.
Lagos Police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the recovered organs have been deposited at the Epe General Hospital for preservation. The case has since been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohungade Jimoh, commended both the operatives and residents for their swift action and timely information sharing, which led to the suspect’s swift arrest.
Jimoh urged all Lagos residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
