MR MACARONI VOWS TO SNUB GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU, SAYS HE WON’T BE CAJOLED AGAIN

Renowned comedian and activist, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, has doubled down on his stance against Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, declaring that he will never acknowledge him again.

Mr Macaroni, who has previously been seen avoiding the governor at public events, revealed that during one such encounter, he was pressured into greeting Sanwo-Olu. However, taking to X (formerly Twitter), the outspoken entertainer made it clear that he will not be coerced into any further interactions with the governor.

“This is the last time I will address this matter. It is not worth my peace of mind,” he wrote. “Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwo-Olu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him. And this time, even if he calls me, I won’t answer. You people will cry today, tomorrow, and forever!”

His strong stance appears to stem from lingering tensions following his arrest during the 2021 #EndSARS protests—a period that cemented his reputation as a vocal advocate for justice and police reform.
