PORTABLE DECLARED WANTED BY OGUN POLICE

The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has declared singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as “Portable,” wanted over allegations of a violent attack on state government officials carrying out lawful duties.
It stated that a valid court order had been issued for his arrest and presentation at any police station.
Recall that three government officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office, were attacked on February 5 while conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu, Ota.

The officials attacked were TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi.
Reports indicate that the officials encountered an elderly man, later identified as Portable’s father, at his Odogwu Bar in the locality.
While they introduced themselves and requested the approved building plan for what appeared to be an ongoing structure, his father informed them that Portable was not around.
In a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, the police said the controversial singer appeared at the scene with dangerous weapons alongside nine others and unleashed terror on the officials.
The officials reportedly sustained bodily injuries in the attack and managed to escape the scene.
The incident was reported to the Ota Area Command, which subsequently transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further action.
