The #InternationalWomensDay boat cruise , an initiative of Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government, #BabaJideSanwoOlu , #FunmilayoOlotu was organized on the 8th of March in commemoration of the #InternationalWomensDay at the event .

The Theme of the first edition of #InternationalWomensDay boat cruise was #BreakTheBias , where women from different fields gather together to network and it was indeed a night of networking . An Initiative of the Senior Special Adviser to Lagos state Government, #BabajideSanwoOlu , #FunmilayoOlotu in her words she explains that she has noticed that the female gender kept hammering on the usual cliche “Women supporting Women” and yet there’s no peace and harmony among the women fold which necessitated the program so that women from various fields can network and rub minds on various issues and see how they can explore their potentials in various ways. #LatashaNgwube anchored the event and Veteran Journalist and publisher of #GenevieveMagazine , Mrs Betty Irabor was also around and renowed cooperate communication Specialist, Mrs Ndidi Ojo was also around . Other dignitaries like ; #TokeMakinwa , Celebrity Stylist , #Medlinboss was also in attendance. #NeeCeeBossLadyTV was also on ground to cover the event . It was a night of glitz and glamour, fun filled where there was a live band . The boat moved from ….. to Lekki Ikoyi and back. It was indeed a night of fun and laughter and the event was anchored with #LatashaNgwube with #Comedian , #KennyBlaq . The Deletable #NollywoodActor , #FunkeAkindeleBello also gave in her best with her dance moves and banters. Everybody had fun and they all look forward to the second edition.
