Rt. Hon. S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye was born on 28th day of May 1978 in Ohumagu Agbogugu. He hails from same Agbogugu village in Awgu Local Govt Area of Enugu State.

He attended Central School Akegbe-Ugwu for his primary education, Community Sec. School Obuoffia and University of Portharcourt respectively. At Uniport he studied Political Science and Administrative studies.

Rt. Hon. Udeh-Okoye became a successful & astute businessman at a very tender age. He also became a community youth leader in his village at the age of 23.

In 2006 He bacame the leader Enugu State Youth Coalition and in 2009 he became the National President Southeast Youth Movement.

In 2011 he contested and won election as a member of the Enugu State House of Assembly. Because of his proven record of loyalty, dedication, integrity, intelligence and courage he was made the Leader Enugu state House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, despite being a first timer & the youngest member at the time. A position he served without blemish.

In 2015 he was re-elected massively and joyously by his constituents because of his great contributions to the State and his effective representation. He is currently the Chairman House Committee on Works, Lands, Housing and Urban Development.

Rt Hon. SKE Udeh Okoye has recieved numerous awards and recognitions but notable among them are:

*community service award by Ohumagu Agbogugu Community

*Ozor Okesinachi from the entire Agbogugu people

*Distinguished Youth Mentorship award from West African Young Lawyers forum in 2012

*Positive Youth Leadership award from ENUGU STATE YOUTH COALITION in 2015.

AREWA YOUTH GROUPS ENDORSE UDEH-OKOYE FOR PDP YOUTHS LEADER
The Northern Youth Alliance (NYA), an umbrella body for 25 youths organisations, have resolved to back the candidature of Rt. Hon. S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye as national youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming convention.
A statement signed by the President General of NYA Comrade Muhammed Gambo and Secretary General Bulus Shamaki, said the opposition party needs capable person with clear vision and programmes to regain its lost glory.
“With its current challenges facing the country, the PDP needs to revamp its leadership and salvage the country by electing individuals with the party at heart,” the statement said.
The statement said the national executive committee of the NYA “has endorsed Rt. Hon. Udeh-Okoye as PDP national youths leader in the forthcoming convention because of his commitment to the philosophy and ideals of the party.
Udeh-Okoye, 38-year-old business mogul and community leader from Enugu State, was the leader of Enugu State Youth Coalition in 2006 and National President Southeast Youth Movement in 2009.
In 2011, he was elected into the Enugu State House of Assembly, where he was made the House Leader though he was a first timer and the youngest member at the time, the youths groups said.
In 2015, he was re-elected into the House and is currently the Chairman House Committee on Works, Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
The northern youths said as stakeholders in the party and having “done their due diligence, they resolved that Rt. Hon.Okoye has all it takes to represent the interests of Nigerian youths in the PDP.”
The party has gone through enough challenges recently, hence “the need for the likes of Rt. Hon. Okoye to reshape its future by serving as its national youths leader.”
“As stakeholders, we deemed it fit that only qualified and excellent candidates are fielded for the positions in the convention. We are duty bound to ensure that PDP bounces back across the country,” they said.
